Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the pos system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Sanitate tables, utensils, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to work weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
- A proactive attitude towards helping guests and providing top-notch service.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food service is a plus.
