Technical Project Manager – RPA (Microsoft Power Automate)
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid – Local candidates only)
Type: 12+ Month Contract (High likelihood of extension or FTE conversion)

Overview
Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong RPA experience specifically using Microsoft’s Power Automate / Power Automate Desktop. This individual will lead automation initiatives across enterprise operations, overseeing full lifecycle delivery—including discovery, requirements alignment, development coordination, deployment, and optimization.
Ideal candidates are technical, polished, and highly client-facing, and have proven experience delivering automation solutions leveraging Microsoft’s RPA capabilities within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of RPA projects built on Microsoft Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop.
  • Manage the automation lifecycle: planning, discovery, process analysis, solution design, development oversight, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Partner with business teams to identify automation opportunities, document process flows, validate feasibility, and assess ROI.
  • Collaborate with Power Platform developers, automation engineers, and vendor partners to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Maintain project artifacts: project plans, RAID logs, technical requirements, workflow documentation, automation design summaries, and status reports.
  • Facilitate intake and prioritization of new automation requests within the Microsoft RPA ecosystem.
  • Support testing efforts, including UAT coordination, validation of automation logic, and deployment readiness.
  • Track post-deployment outcomes and help drive continuous improvement for Power Automate workflows.
  • Provide clear, executive-level communication on risks, milestones, dependencies, and overall project health.
  • Ensure all automation solutions align with compliance, security, IT governance, and PMO standards.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager or Technical Program Manager in enterprise IT.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing RPA initiatives using Microsoft Power Automate / Power Automate Desktop (required).
  • Strong understanding of workflow automation, integrations, APIs, triggers, connectors, and Power Platform governance.
  • Experience partnering with technical teams to deliver low-code/no-code and RPA solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Highly polished communicator with executive presence; able to lead discussions with senior stakeholders and business sponsors.
  • Strong documentation skills, including requirements, process flows, and technical summaries.
  • Experience in hospitality, gaming, or another regulated environment strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, ADO, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar PM tools.
Why This Role Matters
The organization is investing heavily in automation, and Microsoft Power Automate is the strategic platform for RPA. This role ensures that automation projects are delivered consistently, securely, and with measurable business impact. Your leadership will enhance operational efficiency across hotel operations, guest services, casino systems, and enterprise teams.
