Under the direction of the foreman, the Concrete Finisher sets forms, reinforces, pours, and finishes. Types of projects include slabs on grade, slabs on deck, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and related concrete structures. Assignments, either written or given verbally, are mainly repetitive and routine in nature, adhering to established methods and procedures and frequently inspected.

DUTIES
Responsible for working safely on all job assignments.
Setting forms including sidewalks, curbs, and gutters.
Placing wire mesh, and/or placing and tying rebar.
Pouring and finishing all phases of concrete: flatwork and sitework.
Finishing edges by hand.
Running finishing equipment and using machines that vibrate concrete to fill air pockets.
Using chemical additives to speed up the drying process when necessary.
Washing away excess concrete.
Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
All other duties as assigned.
